Sushi with Kusunoki Wine
I kept a big damage from last night.
I cooked pasta at lunch.
It was very nice.
Then I cooked dinner Temaki-Suhi.
It was also very nice.
1st Kusunoki Winery Sauvignon Blanc 2016 3460 yen
I bought this one at the winery when I visited there two weeks ago.
It was an outstandingly nice Sauvignon Blanc.
I felt very clean fruits, very good citrus, tremendously fine minerals.
I think it is one of the best Sauvignon Blanc made in Japan.
What an elegant white wine is this!
2nd Kusunoki Winery Muscat Bailey-A 2015
I bought this one at the winery, too.
The price is around 2000 yen, I think.
It made from 100% Muscat Bailey-A.
The winery bought the grapes from farmers in Yamanashi and produced this one.
The style is light and natural.
I felt nice fruits, mild tannin and moderate acidity.
I also felt the nuance of “Vin de Nature”.
I think you may not like this style but I like this one very much.
It was very good for Temaki-Sushi today.
